Server Reloaded

After two months of putting it off I decided to upgrade my web server. It was running a really old version of Ubuntu and really needed to be upgraded. I moved from Apache to lighttpd, which already seems to serve static web content much faster than Apache did. It was also much easier to configure and setup than Apache was.

Besides updating my server I have been incredibly busy at work and really haven't had much time for anything else at the moment. I did push up a new version of the virustotal.com script that should fix sending to many requests for hash info. I also pushed a new tool called NessusDB, which parses Nessus files into a SQL database for easy report generation. I am looking to push version 1.0 of that tool in the next few weeks. Finally I pushed a ton of Windows code to my wintools project, mostly user level enumeration type tools.

I expect to make some more updates soon. I have two book reviews that I am going to post as soon as I finish writing them. I also expect to finish up the first release of NessusDB and do an entire post on that. I am also going to release another tool called Hogan but the details on that are hush hush until I can finish it all up and release it.
