Lady Vox - WAR / BRD / DRU - d4 - solo

Vox at difficulty four in 4:41, against 7:48 the week before, and she has always felt easier than Nagafen. Her room holds exactly one charmable mob and it is always there, though the run is clear that the build does not need it.

August 22, 2026

Lady Vox at difficulty four, solo, with Warrior, Bard and Druid, and the third of the three raid targets on this build. She is the easy one, and has been all along: 4:41 today against 7:48 the week before, with no real scare in it. The one thing worth taking away is the charm pet, which is sitting in her room every single time and costs nothing, alongside the honest note that the fight does not actually need it.

Lady Vox Permafrost Difficulty 4 Warrior / Bard / Druid
Kill time4:41, against 7:48 last week
Difficulty one today1:50
Her health75,500 to 82,250 at difficulty four, over nine kills
Damage taken22,000
Crit rates13.9% dot, 13.1% melee
HealingNine Forest's Renewal, three heal over time

The Setup

Same bar as the other two.

  • Two heals, Forest's Renewal and the heal over time.
  • Four chants, poison, flame, disease and magic.
  • Charm and Drifting Death, with a damage shield parked in the slot left over because nothing better wanted it.
  • Chords of Dissonance, the disruptive discord and Selo's Chords of Cessation, the level 48 slow that lands and does damage, rather than Largo's Melodic Binding.
  • Regen song at current rank and the haste song from 45.
  • Accuracy potion, mana regen elixir and a damage shield potion, then inversion with defensive.

The One Charmable Mob

Free, permanent, and not required.

  • The priest in her room is the only thing in there, and it is always there. Charm it on the way in, before you touch her.
  • There is zero risk to it. Nothing else is going to wander in and complicate the pull.
  • It broke once and was recharmed without the fight noticing.
  • You do not need it. The build kills her without a pet; the pet is there because this build happens to have charm.
  • Bards charm on the move, which is the quiet advantage here. An Enchanter has to stop to do it, though an Enchanter charm probably would not break at all.

The Fight

She slows you before you have a plan.

  • She slowed us immediately, in the first few seconds, before anything else had happened.
  • She is always a Cleric, and the Rogue and Necromancer were the random pair this run, which is where the mixed damage comes from. The extra classes are rolled, so do not plan around these two specifically.
  • The opening Drifting Death fizzled, which is worth a moment of composure rather than a panic.
  • Pre-heal before you engage, then top up early rather than waiting for a gap.
  • Twelve thousand healed against 22,000 taken, nine casts of Forest's Renewal and three of the heal over time.

What the Parse Says

Slashing, then the slow song.

  • Slashing is the top damage source, the same shape as the Nagafen kill.
  • Selo's Chords of Cessation is second, which is a lot of damage for a song whose job is control.
  • Six weapon procs across the fight.
  • 13.9% dot crit and 13.1% melee crit on the current gear.
  • The slow resisted repeatedly, visible as a run of resists in the timeline, and it still came out second.
  • Drifting Death was cast once or twice. The parser cannot count casts yet, which is a gap he flags rather than papers over.
  • She is the largest health bar of the three, and the easiest fight. Measured at difficulty four she runs 75,500 to 82,250 across nine kills, against Master Yael at 70,800 to 78,800 across eleven and Lord Nagafen at 74,300 to 75,500 across ten. Nothing about her is quick; it is that nothing she does forces a mistake.

The Two-Hander Problem

Cleave keeps underperforming.

  • Cleave is not pulling its weight in these fights, and it has not for a while.
  • Two-handed may be the wrong choice for raids, which is a real reversal given how much of the damage comes off auto attack.
  • Dagas is the target weapon, and it has not dropped yet across every run so far.
  • It would go straight to plus ten the moment it does.

The Loot

Better than usual, for once.

  • A Mote of Major Potential, the tier five upgrade currency and the thing actually worth farming her for.
  • Warhammer of Divine Grace, carrying a yield proc.
  • A dragon bracer, auto sold on the spot.
  • A horn and a book to round it out.
  • More than the two items she normally gives up, which is worth noting only because it usually is not.

The Parser, Which Is Half the Video

Built alongside the run, and about to be pointed at live EverQuest.

  • The overlay gained a live top five damage sources between the last fight and this one, so the same numbers the parse shows afterwards are readable during it.
  • Three DPS figures are meant to agree and one is not: overlay, parse and total should match, while the fourth is instantaneous damage, which is what the chart plots.
  • Charm is detected from the log. It sees the priest get charmed, marks it as a pet, attributes its damage separately, and notices when the charm breaks and is recast.
  • It carries every spell and AA to 130, even though this is Legends, because the client's own spell data goes that far.
  • Buff tracking is the hard part, since some AAs extend durations, so knowing a buff landed is not the same as knowing when it falls off.
  • Casts are still not counted, which is why Drifting Death is "once or twice" above rather than a number.
  • All of it comes out of the log file. Nothing is read from the client and nothing is typed in.

It is being ported to live EverQuest for Lethar, the new TLP server, which is two weeks out at the time of recording. That is the reason to build it against Legends first: the same log format, a much smaller spell set, and a character whose fights are short enough to check the numbers by eye.

Lady Vox, Solo, at Difficulty Four

  1. Clear the trash first, then buff at the door.
  2. Charm the priest in her room before you touch her.
  3. Pre-heal, then engage.
  4. Expect the slow in the first few seconds. It is not a mistake you made.
  5. Drifting Death up, then the melody, and shrug off a fizzle.
  6. Keep Selo's Chords of Cessation in the melody. It resists a lot and is still your second damage source.
  7. Recharm when it breaks, or carry on without it, because the kill does not depend on it.
  8. Heal early rather than reactively. Inversion with defensive gives you the room to do it.

Hello and welcome to Lady Vox difficulty four warrior druid bard and today we’re going to we’re having a little fun. Knock her out. So my setup as always is two heels best heel forest heel and blossoming heel [music] then I’m using chant of poison flame disease then the magic one and then I have my charm I have my drifting death magic dot I have shield of thorns cuz I just didn’t have anything else to put in this slot and then I have cords disruptive discord cords of cessation which is our correct slow that actually does damage our region that is current the current level katana soothing and then our haste spell from level 45 so song if you will I’m also using an accuracy potion a greater elixir of concentration and kiva’s skin flame which gives us a little bit higher damage shield I’m going to run an inversion plus defensive and let’s go so I’ve already killed all the trash and we are going I’m going to pre heal go ahead click here and click on the overlay for that damage here just a second oh looks like she’s slowed us right away we got what a rogue cleric necro all right so this is going to be a fun fight here now what I did is I charmed the priest immediately right like that’s the first thing I did we’re going to put drifting death on her drifting death go in ooh fizzled oof not good all right let’s get this under control here I want blooming and show overlay all right perfect Now, I did make a change to the overlay in the between here. I added the top five damage sources that I’m doing. Uh I can I can show damage to Well, that one’s going to mess up the flow. Right now, hitting me. Is that one going to work? No, that wasn’t going to work. But, uh still work in progress. Um but, you can see the top five damages real time. Kind of like what we’re going to see in the parse here shortly. Uh the damage parse the DPS here should match the DPS there, which should match the DPS there. Uh this DPS won’t match. This is my instantaneous damage, which you see here is plotted over the chart. And then, uh you know, you see the thorn damage is our number three damage source right now. So, let’s get some heals going cuz I’m talking too much. That’s why I run defensive. And uh there we go. Let’s throw one more heal just to top us off, and we’re in We’re good. Come on. There we go. So, you can see uh the the AoE slow, which is the fourth one right now, uh chords, is doing actually pretty well. My Most of my damage is slashing. As you can see here, it does detect that we charmed the priest Nagafen, so it’s marked it as our pet. And uh whatnot. So, it’s pretty It’s getting there. It’s getting there. And uh like I I trust the damage that it’s giving me, right? So, charm broke, re-charmed, and it says charmed. Perfect, right? All this from logs, right? Like, who would have thought? Who would have thought could have pulled all this information real time? Uh Now, the cool thing is is I’m going to do all this for EverQuest cuz Luclin starts in 2 weeks. So, we’re going to be getting uh getting this all going on Luclin, too. But, let’s let’s get that going. There we go. Let’s get another heal. I’m not sure what spell’s missing up there. Uh that’s uh that’s something I started adding uh was buff tracking, but it it buff tracking gets actually kind of complicated um especially with the logs because like I I I can read the spell data, right? I have I have a database with all the spells all the way to 130. And I can pull all that information out. I have all the AAs from 1 to 130 in the database, right? Even though this game is is is Legends, right? It’s got all level 130 spells in it as far as I can tell in the spell database. Uh so, it gets complicated because there’s some AAs that make spells last longer and stuff like that. So, I’m still working through all those bugs. I used to have an AA tracker that would tell me all the AAs I spent, but if you don’t track it from number one, it was like getting confused. It’s like, “Oh [\h__\h] You uh you’re like one off, and I don’t know why.” But, anyway, we’re you know, Nagafen Lady Vox here is just getting absolutely destroyed, right? And we don’t need the charm pet. Like, so don’t think that you have to have a charm pet to do with this, but this build does have charm. So, you know, we’re going to use it. I can do this exact same thing with a shaman. Uh well, a shaman would I still have the charm pet, right? I can do the exact same thing with any other class instead of a bard. But uh the bard is the majority of our damage uh outside of our melee two-handed slashing, which is just significantly more than anything else, right? Warrior DPS is pretty good in this uh in this game. There we go. And boom, she’s dead. Now, I’ve only got two items from her this Oh, no, I got more. And never mind. I was about to go to point. Oh, that’s not We got a mote of major potential. That’s a mote five and then a warhammer of divine grace, which was uh couldn’t give us a yield proc yield three proc. Wow. And then a dragon bracer, which I auto sold. Didn’t need. All right, we got a horn and a book. Oh, whoa, don’t loot that. All right, let’s get a screenshot real quick. Huh, I don’t I don’t really like you. Here, come over here. Guard right here. Don’t move. Yeah, stay over there. Dumbass. All right, let’s get a nice little uh screenshot here. There we go. Let’s uh see if I can fix my health real quick. There we go. And then go recovery, I suppose, so that ticks up. I don’t like these health bars. I wish they would uh go away quicker. There we go. All right. So, let’s look at the data after we kill this guy right here. And then uh we can uh talk about it. You You’ve kind of got a a preview, right? Like, we’re getting some more interactive uh data in here. And uh all this data then gets pumped into my uh database for other consumption. So, I’m I’m I’m having fun crafting all this stuff and getting all going and I don’t think Claude likes me. So. It’s hilarious though. It’s absolutely hilarious how how much time it saves to do it that way. All right. Let’s get in the parser here. I don’t want that page. There we go. All right. Lady Vox, let’s bring it in. Let’s turn off the overlay. All right. What do we see here? Time to kill 4 minutes and 41 seconds. All right, hold on. Lady Vox. What was my What was my other kills? All right. My D3 was 8 minutes, but I was not paying attention. I I was I was literally auto attacking while I was doing something else. So, that makes sense. My D1 today was 1 minute and 50 seconds. Not really gaining much over that. I’m not really gaining much over that. My D4 last week was 7:48. And my D4 there was 47 seconds. I must have died or something like that. All right, well, there we go. All right, so let’s pop this open. Obviously, we already saw that slashing was our number one damage followed by our chords of assonance there, which is our our song of our slow, which is really nice that it it does so much damage. Now, let’s see here. We had a 13% 13.9% dot crit chance and 13.13 uh melee crit [music] chance, which is pretty good. So, cleave still underperforming. I don’t think two-handed is the way to go >> [music] >> in raids. And obviously, I need to switch to Dagas. But I I, you know, I have not gotten that weapon yet. I will plus 10 it as soon as I get it, but I have not gotten it yet. So, that’s still a work in progress, but uh bashing cleave, you know, our bashing kick still doing a little bit of damage, but not a whole lot to talk about there. Uh I think I only did drifting down once or twice. Um we need to get casts in this. Uh let me let me see if I can cast count spells on outgoing encounter. All right. Uh maybe that’s a memory for me for later to get that done. So, then I can say like I cast I I cast it twice. Maybe. I don’t know how many times it was. 12, I mean, that sounds like that was two two times, right? Uh we got what? Six procs from our weapon, which is not bad. Uh the timeline is an absolute mess here. It’s hard to read, but you can see everything’s good. These are what? Resisted? Yeah, resisted slow so many times, so not too bad there. Uh then we got here what? Uh da da da da that’s the third. So, we got some resists here. Not too bad. I was not in over channel on a D4 and I got most of my 24% chance. I think if I plus plus 10 all these spells, it would be much better. Now, I don’t know how the procs work, but if I upgrade the druid earthquake spell, uh it theoretically it might go up. I don’t know. might go up. Something to think about there. But overall, I mean we took 22,000 damage. We healed for 12. What was our healing here? Nine heals from forest renewal. I kind of there was like one time I was panic healing while I was just yapping. So. It looks like we only did three blossoms, so. It’s not too bad. Uh, this doesn’t really get benefited by any like upgrades. It’s kind of weak, honestly. Uh, you’ll see it’s kind of weak compared to the shaman one when we do the shaman one next week. But you can kind of see there. But six what was 90,000 damage? I did 63,000. My pet did 15,000, right? No. The cool thing is is that pet is always there. Is the only thing in the room. You can charm it. >> [laughter] >> Bards are lucky they can charm while walking. Uh, enchanters going to actually have to stop and charm. But >> [music] >> I don’t think an enchanter would have a charm break during the fight, so. Yeah, but yeah, like there’s zero risk. I mean I can face tank. I could probably run from zone into Lady Vox without even stopping and face tank everything. Especially with like uh, cleric. But yeah, so there we go. That is Lady Vox D4. Not too bad at all. Like I I feel I felt like it was uh, you know, pretty easy fight. It’s always felt easy. It felt easier than Nagafen in most cases, so. Uh, but that’s that. If you have any questions or comments, let me know. And uh, thank you very much for watching. Please have a fantastic day.
