Nagafen at difficulty four in 5:11, against eight minutes on the first attempt, with the whole ladder from zero timed alongside it. Resist gear is skipped on purpose: 400 to 500 fire resist in beta changed nothing, and he still hit for 400 to 600.

Najena from 15 to 19 on the new Shaman, and Journeyman's Boots off Drelzna on the first attempt. The zone is close to unreadable in the dark until you turn on the client's enhanced vision setting, which the illusion you need to get in does not fix.

Yael at top difficulty with Warrior, Bard and Druid, five minutes against seven last week. He is a Beastlord here and perma slows you, and the cure clicky now takes four clicks to strip twelve counters, so the honest answer is to ignore the slow.

Mistmoore Castle gets the full revamp treatment: guaranteed named spawns, a guaranteed drop on every one of them, and rare status for the mote rates. The charm nerfs in Plane of Sky are the ones to read if you run a charm build, and grouping finally pays an experience bonus.

A second loadout starts at level 10 wearing the level 50 gear, and Crushbone has exactly one thing worth the trip: the Spiky Splintmail and its permanent Bramble Coat click. The experience here is poor, and the zone's own Hunter achievement does not credit its named.

Part one of Plane of Sky at 49, with the swim from East Freeport that gets you there without a Wizard. Includes an alchemy crash course, the island boss knockback trick, and the Grandmaster shortcut that skips Plane of Fear for Warrior armour.

Innoruuk at difficulty zero, plus the Agnostic deity quest that asks for him and Cazic Thule. His resists are the exact inverse of Cazic's, which is the one thing worth knowing before you build a spell set.

First trip into Plane of Fear, difficulty zero, and Cazic Thule at the end of it. Fire and cold both bounce off him, so half the chant melody does nothing. Plus a home built log parser to prove what is actually landing.

Resource Hunter gets the longest section, but the change that matters most is the Cleric epic 1.0: Shmendrik Lavawalker's respawn comes down and the chain loot locks to whoever did the turn in, which closes the multi-quest that handed the epic to people who had done none of it.

An hour of Plane of Hate on difficulty one at 46, farming Warrior armour and platinum. The chant build runs itself, a charmed pet does most of the killing, and Befallen gear still beats what drops here.

Unlocking Wood Elf in EverQuest Legends without leaving West Freeport: 500 Muffins to Pandos Flintside, then 500 White Wine downstairs. Half Elf falls out of it as a bonus.

Lady Vox at 46 on difficulty zero, the day after Nagafen. Same build with one spell swapped for her immunity, one charmed priest, and the third raid token of the week. She dropped a 32% haste belt.

Lord Nagafen at 46 on difficulty zero, solo, in Befallen leftovers. The Bard chant build does the damage for free and health regen tanks the whole clear. The dragon was easy; the loot was not worth it.

Unlocking Iksar in EverQuest Legends: metal bits and small high quality ore handed to Crusader Iktra in North Ro. Buy the ore in Qeynos or farm it, then turn in until you hit ally.

Sol B from 42 to 46 in two or three hours of casual grinding, charming imps on a loop around the Efreeti Lord Djarn camp. No placeholders means Djarn is always back, which took the boots to plus four and the ring to plus three. Nagafen is next.

Unlocking Dwarf in EverQuest Legends: roughly 800 Tumpy Tonics brewed from Kiola Nuts and Water Flasks, handed to Trantor Everhot in North Kaladim. The brewing is the whole quest.

Master Yael at level 42 on difficulty zero, solo, in Befallen and Lower Guk gear. Charm the channeler, let the wizard burn his mana, and hold a heal over time. Earthshaker and Brell's Girdle drop, plus the Void-touched Potential from the quest.

Unlocking Dark Elf in EverQuest Legends: 500 Red Wine from the Neriak Third Gate bartender, handed to Lokar To`Biath in the library, with sneak to get around apprehensive faction.

Level 40 in Lower Guk, where Bard charm turns the King into a two on one fight. The charm-and-send trick, the focus items worth farming on live side, and 1,500 platinum earned since 32.

Solusek's Eye from 25 to 32, goblins first and then gnomes, which turn out to be the best money in the game at that level. Steadfast Will gets started, the Iksar unlock gets priced, and the plan gets cut short in favour of Lower Guk.

The first real EverQuest Legends patch after launch, plus the hotfixes through August 6. Upper Guk loses its named placeholders, Irridium refunds go out, and household disconnects get addressed.

The Befallen basement from 20 to 25, with the named rotation mapped, 48 AA banked, and the Linux crashes finally gone after switching Crossover to the Vulkan backend. Next stop is Solusek's Eye.

The end of Hamrok Live, though not of Hamrok. The series dies with the boxing, but the character gets rebuilt as a solo DPS on Drinal with one goal: get raid ready and join the open raids.

Ring of Surefall Glade to Blackburrow at 15 for the shrink shoulders, which drop twelve minutes in. Then the rest of the zone gets cleared for the belt, the breastplate, the bandana, and the bow, because being an Ogre in doorways had gotten old.

Instances are back, the loadout switched to Warrior / Druid / Bard at 10, and Befallen goes from a grind to a walk. The scythe drops on the very first kill of the named that carries it, Improved Bash comes online, and level 12 becomes 15.

Not a finale. This is the episode where Nomeregard's Journey becomes Trials of Voxl, the character is renamed, and the old name gets reserved for a fresh Necromancer run on Lethar.

Personal instances go down on Freeport, which turns leveling into open world West Commonlands with four hill giants on screen and nothing blue left alive. Level 7 to 8 the hard way, and a debugger attached to chase the crash.

The first channel update in eight months. 7,430 subscribers, 100,261 monthly views against a 50,000 goal, and a hard pivot: every boxing series retired, the channel refocused on EverQuest Legends, and Nomeregard renamed to Voxl.

First trip into Befallen on a D0 solo instance at level 5, learning that an Enchanter pet is not a tank, and fighting a Linux client that crashes on loot four times in one session.

Launch day on Freeport. Voxl the Ogre Warrior / Enchanter runs the tutorial for boots, crosses Antonica by dying on purpose, borrows Sneak from a Rogue loadout to buy tiny daggers, and reaches level 5 outside Befallen in an hour and a half.

The end of The Moon Kitties of Vaniki. The server is empty, 106 people in general chat, and the experience is too slow to grind solo. The same achievements get another run on Frostreaver instead.

The end of Towani, A Thief's Tale. The account is cancelled and the rules of the run bent until it stopped being fun. Also the first video recorded and edited entirely on Linux.

The end of Hobz and Friendz. Boxing is over for good, the account is cancelled, and the 130 Shadowknight video that was owed will be a solo one instead. Plus what solo self found actually cost on Towani.

The EverQuest Legends launch day patch notes. Kerrans go live, stun immunity cuts both ways, six classes get auto-granted AAs, and placeholders come out of The Hole, Lower Guk, Nagafen's Lair, Splitpaw, the Warrens, and Mistmoore.

The rewritten EverQuest Legends start plan after two test runs and a pile of feedback: Ogre Warrior with a pet class, the death-warp route to North Ro, and the gear, focus, and AA lists all the way to the first raid tokens.

Testing whether Kedge Keep is worth levelling in at 42. It reportedly has no experience penalty, and it still is not worth the effort. Ends with three mermaids and a scramble for air.

The clarifications that make Lethar a fundamentally different game: every item on the server becomes all/all, epics included, and personal loot pays up to three items per person per kill in a full group.

A full clear of the revamped Crushbone at level 14, instanced at difficulty 1 so nothing flees. Every route in, the named that the game never flags as named, the wood elf faction grind, and the clicky damage shield that is the only real reason to come.

The July 15th live patch, which is the test server build shipped intact: Heroes' Journey quests go group friendly. Plus an open question about whether their achievements will even exist when Lethar starts.

A full clear of Splitpaw Lair on revamp day at level 41. Every named mapped, the chain-stunning gnoll casters that killed me twice, the shields worth taking, and a sustained argument that the experience here does not keep pace with Guk.

The last beta patch before the week of downtime. Crushbone and Lair of the Splitpaw both rebuilt, motes made untradeable in a way that ends the server economy, and single player experience rates confirmed unchanged.

Lethar gets a date: August 26th at noon Pacific, starting on The Serpent's Spine with personal loot. Plus an expansion teaser about fate and the demiplanes that sounds a lot like Bristlebane.

A patch that looks small and is not. Heroes' Journey quest drops now drop for the whole group instead of one at a time, which fixes the single biggest reason people box those quests.

The Lethar TLP ruleset: starts on The Serpent's Spine, personal loot borrowed from EverQuest Legends, legacy character experience bonuses, no truebox and no item level requirements. Plus one sentence nobody could parse.

Instance repairs after the infrastructure move, spell tiering phase two landing on pets, charmed pets finally able to wear gear, and a sustained argument that shaman buffs should lose their negative effects at rank 10 the way items already do.

Renouncing your faith takes about twenty minutes: hail the emissary on the Oasis docks, then kill Cazic Thule and Innoruuk at difficulty zero. The reward is a 200 point lift to your faction caps.

A viewer build request tested cold on Master Yael at difficulty four: Warrior, Cleric and Necromancer, no practice run. It wins comfortably, and I fought most of it without noticing I had no main hand weapon equipped.

Solo Plane of Sky finally works, the weapon nerf is reverted, instance charges arrive, and the whole zone experience table is rebalanced to push people out of dungeons into an open world I do not think has anywhere worth levelling past 40.

Nomeregard the Shadowknight knocks out three raid mobs in one run for the Conqueror of Chardok achievement. Towani holds the locked doors open while the SK clears the throne room and library.

Nomeregard the Shadowknight grinds from 60 toward 65 in the Crypt of Decay, kitted out with new Gates of Discord raid armor pieces from Gouda. The DPS mercenary handles the trash while the SK churns through experience.
