Wood Elf Race Unlock
Unlocking Wood Elf in EverQuest Legends without leaving West Freeport: 500 Muffins to Pandos Flintside, then 500 White Wine downstairs. Half Elf falls out of it as a bonus.
The cheapest unlock so far, and the whole thing happens inside West Freeport. Buy 500 Muffins from one vendor, 500 White Wine from another about thirty seconds away, hand them to two NPCs in the same inn, and you are done in under ten minutes. Half Elf unlocks off the same turn ins without being asked for, so this is two races for one shopping trip.
Getting In
Freeport faction is the only obstacle.
- In from the Commonlands and straight through the middle of the zone. Everything is within one small area.
- Bring sneak if your Freeport faction is poor. Both vendors and both turn ins are in guard territory, and an Iksar by default is not welcome.
- A Dark Elf illusion does the same job. I run the whole thing in Dark Elf form off the mask, which sidesteps the faction question entirely. An Enchanter illusion works too.
On deity: I had already swapped to Agnostic, which is its own quest out in the Oasis and covered separately. Not required for this, but it changes which factions you start from.
The Shopping
Two vendors, five hundred each.
- Pincia Brownloe sells the Muffins, in building 11 near the theatre at roughly (-276, -698). Buy 500.
- Swin Blackeye sells the White Wine, inside the inn at roughly (-158, -527). You will spot the brew barrel and the dwarf working it outside. Buy 500.
- Buy 500 of each even though the turn ins need less. Starting faction differs by race, and coming up short means walking the loop again.
Pandos Flintside
Upstairs, and there is someone up there you do not want to wake.
- He is upstairs in the inn. The stairs are easy to walk past; they are round the back rather than off the main room.
- Pandos stands in Lady ShaeLady ShaeEQLHigh Elf WarriorLevel: 12 Zone: West FreeportLoc: 50% @ (-143, -451)AC97HP264Hits for 1 - 24, 1 per round, at 100%SpecialNone's room, which is useful rather than dangerous. If Shae is not kill on sight to you, the quest can be done at any Pandos faction so long as you can go invisible or hide.
- He is Lady Shae's personal bodyguard, which is why he is up there at all. He stands around (-204, -497), so there is no standing far enough back to be out of range in that room.
- Invisibility or hide is the fallback if he will not deal with you, rather than a safe spot on the floor.
- Hand over the Muffins. 400 is the most that will go across in one trade, so it takes two passes.
- The faction bar moves absurdly fast. Several hundred individual turn ins will lag the client. Let it work.
Worth doing even if you only want Dwarf. I believe Pandos feeds into that unlock as well, though I say on camera that I have not confirmed it and will find out when I get there.
The Wine Handin
Downstairs, and this is the one that fires the unlock.
- Back downstairs for the second turn in. The White Wine goes to the woman on the ground floor of the same inn.
- Hand over the lot. Factions you did not touch with the muffins start moving here, which is the sign it is the right NPC.
- Expect a long stall. Five hundred interactions in one trade is the heaviest moment of the quest.
- Half Elf unlocks alongside Wood Elf. Nothing in the quest text mentions it and it is not asked for. It simply appears.
Checking and Switching
Two races for one trip.
- Untapped Potential, then Races. Wood Elf and Half Elf both show as unlocked.
- Edit a loadout, set the race, save. The same flow as every other unlock.
- Gender is fixed. The loadout will not let you change it, which is a real limitation if you had a particular look in mind.
- That is ten dollars of race unlocks for one shopping trip, since both would otherwise be bought separately.

Hello and welcome to an EverQuest Legends guide. Today we are going to be unlocking the wood elf race. Uh this entire thing takes place in and I you not Westport. Um completely unre unrelated to uh what else? Right. So I’m in Westport. You come in here uh from the common lands. Right. This way. Go through here. Go through here. You come over here to the theater of tranquil. You’re going to see this lady right here on the map, the Breewall map, uh, Pencia. She’s a baker. Now, I’m in dark elf form for my dark elf mask. Uh, you could also, uh, you know, use an enchanter or whatever, but you’re going to need sneak if you don’t have good faction with Freeport. And you’re going to buy some muffins. You’re going to want to buy 500 muffins here. There we go. 500 muffins. All right, we got those. Now, that’s all we needed from her. We’re going to come over here. Now, there’s another video on my uh my channel for this guy already, uh Pandos and his muffin quest. But, uh that’s not all we’re doing today. All right, we’re going to come over here. Hog collars in. Right. So, this is where this takes place right here. Uh it’s easier to get to. It’s like straight through the middle turn there. Right. You’ll see uh the brew barrel outside with this this dwarf here just uh brewing away. Got to get drunk, right? All right. You’re going to come in here. You’re going to see a swine black eye. You’re going to turn come right behind him. I’m still sneaking, by the way. I’m going to go over here. I’m going to purchase white wine 500. One, two, three, four, and five. All right. So, now we have all the materials we need. So, if you don’t know where he’s at, right here in this inn. Now, what we’re going to do is we’re going to go upstairs if I can remember how to remember how to do it. And there’s that lady. We need to talk to her next, but shouldn’t be stairs like right right around here. Maybe it’s back here. Yeah, there we go. All right. Now, there is a dude we got to make sure we don’t aggro. If he’s even up right now. There he is right there. Bandos. He likes us. He loves us. We went to uh we went to Crushbones. So, he likes muffins. So, we’re going to hand him some muffins. We’re going to give him all 500 of these. Well, we can only give him 400. Let’s give him all those. Look at this. Look at this faction just max out. Look at that. Look at that. Oh yeah. It’s dirty how much it’s going up. But once that’s done shortly, it’s like it’s going to be 500 times, right? O look at that. Imagine if we were actually getting experience here or not, but wouldn’t it be nice? All right, there we go. And then uh looks like that’s all we needed uh to do that. So, let’s double check that real quick. Now, I did switch to Agnostic. If you don’t know how to do agnostic, there’s a quest in the Oasis. I have a video on it where you then go kill uh Kazakth Thu and uh um Kazakth Thu and Rook. All right, factions. Uh sort ally. All right, cleric sunar ally. I want to make sure I’m max ally. Uh this character is an ixar by default. So there’s, you know, some little tricks there. That’s why I bought 500. Uh, let’s see here. We got King Theistex. Yeah, he’s still warmly. I can’t I can’t can’t get there. I can’t get there with my current combo. So, let’s uh let’s give him some more muffins just in case. Looks like we’re not going to get any better from all of that. All right, perfect. All right, so we’re done with Pandos. That’ll get you part of the way there. We’re going to come downstairs right over here. We’re going to find that lady we were talking about just a second ago. Where’d she go? Where is she? Maybe over here. There. There she is. All right. So, this lady here, she’s going to want some white wine. Definitely wants some white wine. All right. I’m going to hand that over. Look at all that go. Look at that go now. Looks like this is increasing. uh a few of the factions we didn’t already have. There we go. It’s just going to keep going. It’s going to lag you out for 500 interactions, right? Uh definitely uh you know, hold on to your seat while this is going on. There we go. Race unlock. Half elf. Oh, we got half elf. That was a bonus. And we unlocked wood elf, which was what we’re trying for today. All right. So, got two for one. Two for one. I didn’t even know it was going to happen. All right. Okay. Untapped potential races dark elf or no half elf unlocked and wood elf unlocked. Right. So there you go. That’s how you do it. You go over here. Turn around. Wait, wait, wait, wait. We need to do We need to actually become a wood elf. Loadouts. Edit. Uh, let’s go with this one. Save. You cannot. Well, okay. Well, cancel. Snake. Edit. Wood elf. Save. There we go. Look at that. O. Look at that sexy beast of a wood elf. Now, it’s to my disappointment I cannot change my gender gender because uh female wood elves look better. Uh but there you go. That is how you unlock um wood elf and half elf apparently. Uh, let’s see what the half elf looks like real quick before we uh call this here. Edit half elf. There we go. Now, my very first character in EverQuest was a half elf. Did not have this face, but uh you know, it is, you know, an option you can have there. Uh there you go. Uh I’m looking to unlock dwarf next. Uh I needed to do the pandos thing because uh I believe he helps with uh something. wood elf related or I mean a dwarf related. So, we’ll see when we get to there. But, uh there you go. Uh hopefully that helps you in your journeys to save $5. $10 cuz you don’t have to buy both, right? Saves you $10 in your journey there. Thank you very much for watching and please have a fantastic Okay.
