Hello and welcome to Hobbs and Friends. Today is the end. >> [laughter] >> Today is the end. I’m it’s it’s an open it’s an open book on my channel and I’m trying to close some of these things, right? I have not made any I haven’t played this guy in like a long time. I I even canceled this account. It’s it’s about to run out. And like I’m I know I plan to no longer really box the way I’ve been boxing my for the last few years. It is it is worn me out. >> [laughter] >> My my hands like I I get this this cramp in my hand where I can’t even use a mouse for like a day. It’s it’s definitely taking its toll on me personally and so, you know, I’m just wrapping these guys up. So, you know, we had a we had a fun time with this character, right? This is a you know, 130 Shadow Knight. You know, I think we we did pretty well. This is like raid gear and stuff and you know, just bags full of stuff, right? It’s just what it is. Now, I I’m working on a plan for a solo series here on EverQuest one. I haven’t I haven’t finalized I got I got like five ideas on the board right now. Trying to figure it out and we’re going to you know, continue some EverQuest one content. We’re going to do some EverQuest Legends content and I think we’re going to go do some EverQuest two content. I’m not 100% sure. So, there’s going to be some changes going forward, but this is to kind of you know, put an end cap on the Hobbs and Friends series. It’s not coming back. I’ve already you know, I’ve canceled every single character except for Nomergard at this point. And well, Nomergard and Tuwani the Tuwani account. So, those are you know, kind of where it’s, you know, where I’m going. I don’t know exactly what I’m going to do. Like I got some ideas on the board and you know, figure out what I’m going to do with them. Well, Lothar looks pretty good. Um, you know, Frost Reaver, you know, just bad timing with EverQuest Legends. I have extreme amounts of fun in playing that game. And I just don’t have uh I don’t have the patience to do both right now because you know, Ever Frost Reaver’s more of a grouping thing and I prefer to solo. Um, and we we might be able to get Frost Reaver going with the solo Beastlord. And or you know, just whatever. I think that’s might be something I try to do. You know, we did start that and like the least try it and you know, see what we can do. Um, but you know, there’s there’s a lot of issues related to all that, but yeah, so I do owe everybody a you know, a thank you. Right? I you know, I I appreciate everybody who watched this series, everybody who commented on the series, you know, liked it and all that stuff. I really appreciate that. It really really really went well. >> [laughter] >> It was a really well well done, you know, well viewed series, I guess. Now, I do owe a 130 Shadow Knight video uh to everyone which I uh I am going to try to do like uh Let’s claim this. Uh it is it is definitely on my uh on my to-do list. Let’s grab that. Why not? Current purchase. Hurry up. So, we will do that, but it will be solo focused instead of uh multi-box focused. So, it’ll be like how I solo my 130 Shadow Knight. I think it’s probably where it’s going to be. I think what I got going on at the moment spell wise is kind of the uh the direction I’m going to probably go. So, you know, we’ll we’ll definitely try to get some of that. There’s uh there’s going to be a week of no EverQuest Legends. So, I’m going to try to get that done during that process and do that. So, we should see a 130 Shadow Knight, a 130 Paladin, and uh whatever other things are on this account. I can’t remember. Uh we’ll knock all those out during that time probably. And then uh going forward, you know, it’s going to be uh you know, what we can do solo going forward. I think I want to do, you know, a a character not 100% solo self-found. I don’t think that’s that’s as fun as it sounds when it comes down to it. We did that with Toani. We got to like 100 or 95 or something like that and it was just insanely painful to continue because of how the game works and its lack of being solo friendly. But uh I think on Lothar it’s going to be a little bit more friendly. Maybe uh Frost River also might be friendly to playing solo for some things. Uh and we will definitely, you know, look into see what we can do there. I know uh Lothar is going to start in the TSS expansion uh which is close to when mercs come out. I think it’s like two or three more expansions. I think that’s what C Wedi said uh before mercs come out. So, then, you know, you get a little bit more soloable power there. Uh so, there’s going to be some, you know, some thoughts and uh things. If you have suggestions of what you would like to see for EverQuest 1, uh let me know. I know a lot of people are really into EverQuest Legends right now. And uh you know, I’m trying to do both before I get kicked out of all the creator programs. You know, I’m definitely trying to do what I can to try to fix, you know, where I was and what with all that, but uh it’s just boxing’s not a thing. I might true box like one character, like a healer or something like that, so I can do you know, a melee merc plus, you know, a you know, a tank and a healer kind of thing. But it’s going to be true box. I’m going to put my I’m literally I’m literally like a day away from tearing down this computer, rearranging everything and doing stuff. I’ve This is like the last part of my office. I’ve been spending the last week and a half redoing things around my office, moving things around. And hopefully this will be the last one. I’m moving to Linux, so there’s going to be no multi-boxing at all. And I’ll be free of the micro slop, if you will. But uh yeah, so that’s kind of the direction I’m going. The The series is is done. I haven’t updated in a while. It’s done. I would expect anything that I have currently running in EverQuest Live that I did not put a final on is going to be ended. Truth be told, I I don’t uh I don’t see any of them continuing except maybe the gnome regard solo shadow knight thing that I was doing. Uh but I got to really look at that and see what I can actually continue to do with that series. Uh or revamp it, but uh yeah, I’m not 100% sure right now. Um just because, you know, they’re they’re never going to get played again. But Hobbs, he’s going to stay around here.
